Sensory Q&A!

ask-me-anything

I know I haven’t blogged in around a month…so I thought it was about time to get back to it! I also thought I would do another Q&A as I got quite a few questions last time and thought some of my blogs new followers might have some questions πŸ™‚

Feel free to comment a question below (it doesn’t have to be specifically sensory related don’t worry!) I will also post a tweet on my Twitter page asking for questions too.

Keep your eyes peeled for a post with all the answers soon…

  1. Hey!

I have two questions, I don’t know if you’ve written about these things before here, but here they are: Do you use a time management or task management system? If yes, did it help with SPD?

  2. I know this is a little late, but I just discovered your blog and I love it! I’ve been struggling with SPD for a while and I am just now looking into it for some self help. One of my biggest issues is the computer, all the lights, colors, clicking of the keyboard and mouse, its just all a bit too much after a while. I was wondering if you have ever noticed the same problem and if you had any tips because when I have a lot of school work that has to be done on the computer I find it very difficult to concentrate on my work with this issue itching at me.

    1. Hello! Thanks so much for your comment πŸ™‚ and thank you so much for your kind words – they really mean a lot. I totally understand where you are coming from when you mention computers. I would recommend firstly for the bright screen installing something like Flux (https://justgetflux.com) which gives you lots of different screen colour options which are less bright and overwhelming. Have you tried a trackpad mouse and roll out silicone keyboard at all? These are the most quiet versions of a mouse and keyboard and are easy to use. If you have a lot of typing to do I used to use an iPad and use an app like Google Docs to save all my essays on and you can print from the app or Google Docs online too (theres a mobile app too). Feel free to drop me an email at: 21andsensory@gmail.com if you have any other questions or just want to chat πŸ™‚
