Introvert Doodles started as a “self-pep talk” by a comic who goes by Marzi. She was inspired to explore her identity as an introvert after a personality test made her realise her introverted tendencies weren’t flaws — they were part of her personality.

These doodles are just BRILLIANT.

  1. Hi Emily,
I would like to both congratulate & thank you for producing a blog on SoundCloud.
I have found SPD ring so true for me.

I am an Adult aged 41 & have been diagnosed with BPD/EUPD Borderline Personality Disorder/Emotionally unstable Personality Disorder around 9 years ago,
I have never agreed with this diagnosis but disagreeing with a Psychiatrist gives them the signals that I am just unco-operative & I have since been trying to figure things out for myself.

I too, at the age of 33 got myself tested for Dyslexia – The result was ‘High functioning’ so because of this there was no further help there.

I haven’t had children of my own & this makes me sad/inadequate as somedays, someweeks, or for periods of time I am unable to function. I wanted to ensure I wasn’t going to pass on my condition to a child without having answers for them that I have been striving / fighting / researching to find.

I found your blog on Soundcloud very informative, easy to understand & not too long to loose focus or become distracted.
By hearing this I now have hope for my future & despite many times contemplating no longer living, ending my suffering/struggles because I find my meltdowns incapacitating, and without another person’s understanding I felt so alone.

Thank you for reaching me & anybody else that may feel they are alone & I applaud you for increasing awareness in such a positive & uplifting way.

All to often health conditions information focuses on negativity & things you cannot do because of the condition but the positivity you delivered with, has made a huge impact for me.

Thank you once again and I look forward to listening to more of your work.

    1. Hi Charlotte! Sorry for the late reply but thank you so much for leaving such a lovely and interesting comment on my blog! I am sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had with your diagnosis. I do think its awful how late people in life are being diagnosed – especially when it comes to SPD and Dyselxia – coping mechanisms, therapy and other techniques could have really helped us earlier in life had we known! Thank you so much for your kind words – I don’t want you to ever EVER feel insufficient for not having children of your own and for having meltdowns. These things are very difficult to cope with and are mostly out of your control and you are coping so well by researching into things and reading as much as you can to help yourself. Keep positive and feel free to drop me an email if you have any other questions or just fancy a chat! Thanks – Emily 🙂
