There’s bits I find hard (instructor touching you to correct your position/posture occasionally, bare feet, strong smells from diffusers, general lack of body confidence and utter hatred of group classes 😂) but I manage.
I do enjoy the movement (not so much the lying down / quiet / meditative bits because I cannot for the life of me understand how people can be calm and relaxed when someone is talking them in a soft whispery voice) but that’s me just being honest sensory-wise.
I’m trying to ‘go with the flow’ more but it’s so hard as a sensory and autistic person 🤷🏻♀️ I think I’ll practice more at home with my lil’ mat! I’m definitely feeling the benefits though and enjoy challenging myself with different variations of positions / poses.
i’m always saying I’ll try yoga! I just never seem to get to it! Maybe in 2020 I will! 😛

It’s really worth a go! I think it’s quite a nice activity as it doesn’t feel like a full on exercise it’s much more about stretching and holding poses!
